This Act controls the sale, manufacture, importation and exportation of foodstuffs, cosmetics and disinfectants.
This section provides for the vicarious liability of an employer or principal for the acts or omissions of employees unless the employer can prove one or all of the situations described in section 8(1)(a)-(c).
Compliance Obligations?
Note that even if you forbid an act or omission of the nature in question, that in itself will not be regarded as sufficient proof that you took all reasonable measures and may still be held liable.
